A spacious thatched character cottage nestling in a rural hamlet just a short drive from Croyde, Saunton and Woolacombe
Set in the rural hamlet of Kings Heanton, just a short drive from a choice of fabulous North Devon beaches and the village of Braunton, Huish Cottage is an ideal retreat from which to explore the many attractions this area has to offer. Traditional in style and surprisingly spacious throughout, the comfortable sitting/dining room oozes character with oak beams and wood burning stove for cosy cooler evenings. The spacious breakfast kitchen features a Rayburn which is turned on from Oct - April, keeping the cottage cosy for out of season breaks, and is well equipped for all your needs. From the charming hallway, as often found in cottages of this age, the bathroom is on the ground floor while upstairs are three stylish bedrooms and a convenient cloakroom. Good size private lawned gardens are to the rear, with a small covered pond; please take care with small children. A popular local pub with excellent menu is just a short drive or fifteen minute walk away. Marwood Hill Gardens just up the road is well worth a visit, especially if you treat yourself to a Devon cream tea in the garden room. Huish Cottage is Ideal for families or couples, beach lovers will appreciate the close proximity to Saunton, Croyde and Woolacombe or perhaps travel a little further afield to explore beautiful Exmoor National Park and the twin towns of Lynton and Lynmouth.
