The sandy beach is popular for surfing and the Mizen Vision Center is home to the award winning maritime centre. The area is popular with hill walkers touring the Beara and Sheeps Head penninsulas. Crookhaven just 2 miles away has some popular seafood bar restaurants,a sailing club and craft shop, There is horseriding and golf courses all within a 45 minute drive.Shop. Pub 5 miles. Beach 440 yards. Lakeside 880 yards. GF: lounge/kitchen/diner, landing, double with shower over bath, double with single bunk above, bathroom.Electricity charged at 5 per day in summer and 7 per day in winter., open fire (no fuel supplied), linen and towels included, travel cot, high chair, stair gate, dvd player, CD, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer, hairdryer, uk tv channels, enclosed private courtyard, garden furniture, picnic bench, bbq, swings and slide, private off road parking, childrens playground.
